How to set up a recording on a channel in advance?

To record channels, you wish a USB drive (dongle or external disk drive, etc.) to store recordings. Depending on the capacity of the connected external drive and also the bit rate of the stream to be recorded.

To arrange a recording using the EPG screen, please follow the procedures below.

For myTV online 1

1. A suitably formatted USB should be inserted into your Formuler.

2. By pushing the EPG/Guide button on the remote, you may see the grid EPG list.

3. or To see the single EPG list, hit the INFO button on the remote and then the Right arrow.

4. Go to the show you wish to record in the future.

5. On the remote control, press the “RECORD” button.

6. A last press of the “RECORD button” will cancel the entire recording which is optional.

Note: Scheduled recording in Mytvonline 1 is not possible without EPG data.

For myTV online 2

1. Place a USB drive that has been successfully formatted in your Formuler.

2. Use the EPG/Guide button on the remote to display the grid EPG list.

3. Alternatively, click the INFO button on the remote control and the right arrow to see the single EPG list.

4. Select the show you wish to record.

5. On the remote, press the OK or “RECORD” button.

Note: The OK button will open a pop-up window where you may change the length, frequency, and start/end time. The ‘Mytvonline2 > Option > Schedule’ menu also lets you control the schedules. Extra recording time can be added at the start or conclusion of the schedule (Mytvonline 2 > Menu > Settings > DVR Options).

Even if the EPG displays “No Information,” you can plan a recording by following the instructions below:

1. Insert a properly formatted USB flash drive into your Formuler.

2. Launch MYTVOnline2 and navigate to the EPG (Program Guide). Utilizing the remote, press the EPG button.

3. Position the pointer to the selected recording time window.

4. Use the remote to choose OK or REC.

5. A popup window will open, allowing you to schedule the recording for any day preferably.

6. Change the Start and End times to your liking and click “Save.” Automatic recording and switching on and off.
